kays is really one of my favorite people. she is incredibly smart, sometimes too smart for her own good. talented, beautiful, and the best little sister. sometimes i think she is my role model. sometimes i am jealous of her for all these things too. and even sometimes we don't get along so nicely. but i do miss her. it's been kind of a roller coaster summer with new and exciting opportunities, but also life challenges. and its been kind of crazy that i haven't been able to talk to her everyday. i am able to text her while she's on the ship and we email back and forth, but it's been pretty tough. i got to skype her and talk to her more last week because she was in greece with free wifi, so that made things better.
she is @semester at sea right now traveling the world. it's exciting for both her and i because i know what's like to be abroad and have incredible adventures like she is having right now. it also makes me happy for her because i know how much you learn about the world, but also how much you learn about yourself while being abroad. it makes me ecstatic knowing that she gets to have this experience and grow into the person she was always meant to be. i love her and miss her terribly, but i know that she is having the adventure of her life and that she will be in lc with me soon enough. :)
