love: bailey

bailey is one of my best friends in the whole world. she and i have been best friends and pen pals for forever. maybe i think since i was twelve. or something like that. it started at y camp and i think we've had this unifying bond ever since.

i think this was the first time we met --- i can't remember if it was at white's landing or camp fox, but there was some kind of accident where i got hurt (no surprise) and i hit my head on a rock and the lady at the infirmary was bogus and told me to sleep it off. bailey was somehow there and has been there ever since, no matter how separate our lives have been in the world. we were penpals for a long time when we were younger because we couldn't drive and see each other during the year. but we would always come back to fox and things would be like we never left each other. we were even penpals at fox once when we were older, because we were counselors in training and i think we got in trouble for hanging out with each other too much, hahaha of course.

i am writing this blog about her this week because she is currently sailing the world and filling her life with adventures while on Semester at Sea. she blogs too. this is bailey's blog. it's really neat to be on the other side of an abroad blog and see how life really changes and challenges you along the way. some of my favorite things to read about in her blogs are about all the different countries she visits and also this spiritual dance class she is taking that she absolutely loves. she sent me this video on monday and i actually got to see her face, which was amazing!! it also explains what this class means to her and i understand why she loves it so much. it's so exciting that she gets to adventure the whole world over, but at the same time i will be happy to see her when i'm home this summer.
